hey buddy, wellcome to the forum. Everyone were was gone through what you are gonig through right now! This site is awsome the only thing you have to remember is everyone here is an addict and most of us have families, jobs, and aftercare going on in our lives, NO ONE gets payed to be on here, we are only here when we can be to help each other. We will be here for you the whole way through and CONGRATES on your 5 days, that is great. Sometimes post go unnoticed, when its busy on here a post can be at the botom of the list pretty quick, when this happens to your post just find it and let us know you are still waiting and that will bring your post back to the top.

methocarbamol - I think the name brand is Robaxin.  It's a muscle relaxer.  Its a CNS depressant so make sure you do not drink any alcohol or take any other CNS depressant.  it could be what made you fall. Or you could just be exhausted.
Well in any event - congrats on day 5.  Thats great.  You are probably over the worst of it. Cheers (with apple juice) to that!

It might be just pure exhaustion.  You told the doc everything right, including feinting?? I think you said you did.  Could have been anything.  Tiredness.  Exertion from swimming.  Plus our blood pressure is unstable when we detox so a large dip, or rise, could cause light headedness. If you s/w the doc, I wouldnt worry about it too much.  I have normally very low bp, and just standing up too quickly can make me feint at times.
Blank
Avatar_m_tn
yeah i told the doctor everything from taken pain killer  and nealry passing out when i went swimming, 2 days ago i had high bp and when i went back yesturday it went down so that was good.

Congrats on day 5!!! wahoo....

the robaxin never really affected me, i was taking it for muscle spasms too.  It really shouldn't affect your w/d symptoms which you should be on the better side of now.

Glad you're here!

The muscle relaxer you're taking has little to zero effect on your withdrawals. They will make you lethargic and sleepy, so they help with that aspect. But, stopping them will have no effect on how you feel as far as the withdrawals. You seem to be impatient through this process, and that scares me. You stated that you want to "beat this thing and fast". I'm afraid it doesn't work that way. I'm nearing 7 months now and I've had a week that rivals the first month I was clean. The fact is that this addiction is for life. The disease is chronic and incurable. But, it can be placed into remission with work and perseverance. My fear is that after a few days or weeks the pink cloud will lift, you'll have a few bad days, and return to active addiction. This is where the counseling will truly help. Continue with your counseling and pursue your recover with the same vigor that you placed into your addiction.

JC...I'm guessing yes...you will NOT have any w/d from the robaxin.

Sorry about the liver report...Good luck on wednesday.

and

CONGRATS on day 6!!!

And, from what you said, it seems as though your liver enzymes are elevated. It's fairly common with drug abuse (especially those containing tylenol) and alcohol abuse. As ling as they aren't highly elevated, it will resolve with clean time. Also, drinking will just continue the damage, so if you're a drinker...it would be best to quit.

thanks mate thats all i wanted to know if i would get any W/D from robaxin and i got my answer thanks again
Blank
Avatar_m_tn
im not a drinker it's just damage from 10 years of taken pain killers

Some muscle relaxers are life savers for some people they dont all make you lethargic everybody's body handles meds differently . Durning wd a MR was a life saver for me.  My doctor put
me on zanaflex ..... Would it work as well for you you never know because we are all different .Do make sure you set up recovery care  program now that you are off the pills so you can stay clean .Be very proud of yourself you are doing great !!!!!! one day at a time.

1 week without pain killers and im doing good, last night i never taken any of my tablets that the doctor gave me and i had a good sleep 7 hours worth and this morning i felt good for once but when it got to this afternoon i started to feel weak, tired and moody so i guess the pain killers are still in my system.

I always get tired in the late afternoon and evenings...so don't fret.  Just another phase...but soo much easier than the first few phases.

I was tired as hell last night...but had my personality and drive to kick it to the curb.

Keep fighting brother...you are doing great.
