I was prescribed Zoloft after my divorce 3 months ago. I learned to take it at night because it made me drowsy and out if it during work. After it gets in ur system it helps u focus. I continued to take hydros too. Im just now quitting dros by tapering and vitamins. The zoloft, personally, didnt help me with withdraw systems. Itll be worth it to quit. Best of luck.
I've. Been doing pain killers for about 8 years. It used to be very occasional, vicodin now and then but recently I started doing blues, roxys 30s on a daily basis. Tried to quit last week but by second day the WDs were too much. Joints pains, diarrhea, cold sweats, no energy etc. so I decided to do a half that night when my buddy showed up, of course I ended up doing two. And was doing them every day again since until Saturday. That was my last day. Now I'm on my third day and for some reason the WDs were nowhere near as bad as last time for some reason. I'm actually feeling pretty good good now. And there were days that I would take over three blues and all in span of couple of hours. Chasing the high but it got to a point where I was just feeling normal when I did them. I always thought I was too smart to become addicted would always take breaks never had WDs but I let my guard down couple of months ago and the rest is history. The thing is that I already feel so much better, almost normal. Now it's time to go to my class haven't been in couple of weeks now cause I was too F'd up all the time and would stay up till so late every night. Good luck just suck it up and get thru it. I was actually suppose to get some sobaxin or however u spell it plus some Iv thats suppose to help from my paramedic buddy but I don't think I'll be needing it.
The zoloft will take a while to take effect. It will help with depression. If the reason for lake of motivation is depression then the zoloft will help the motivation. If the reason for lack of motivation is because you are taking the pills, you need to stop the pills. It is good you want to stop the pills. Many people on this forum have detoxed at home. I have to go in a few minutes but can come back on this board in a couple hours and give you some more guidelines on what to do.
The adderall should help you with energy. It is not helping at all?
Do you want to quit cold turkey or do you think you would do better if you cut down your usage gradually until you felt like you could stop?
im also facing the same prob, i think i am now addicted to pain meds< at first it was becasuse i used to have terrible headaches but now when i get a headache i need a higher dose than before. ive just started a new job and i do not want to ruin it buy suddenly stopping and getting withdrawal symptoms while i work, hopefully i will be able to gradually cut down and eventually stop. im addicted to codein containing painkillers and over the counter ones contain 10mg, ive been taking 6 or 7 at one go once a day first thing in the morning and sometyms 3 or for later in the day. you are not alone but i beleive all in all my dear its about WILLPOWER, you, we can do it !!!
Hi,I don't think that the zoloft will do anything right away but if you stop taking the pain pills and stay stopped then your motivation will definitely come back and things won't seem so apocalyptic. You can do it.I hope that this helps. There are many here to help you out.
