Pee in drawer

My son who went to rehab & is now in outpatient rehab  is clean ...I found a small container of clean pee in his drawer( NOT GOOD) ...I told the out patient rehab & they told me its normal to do this when you are a addict ..Its call just in case ....... As of today he is clean , they drug tested him today & i will daily also.....But please help me to understand this .... Any advice would be appreciated ....Trish

It is not a good sign if he is keeping that in a drawer. It is his "just in case" and we know what that means. It also won't work because when they test they use a thermometer as well and it has to register his body temperature, not room temperature.

U can purchase "clean" pee..if a person is watched closely during th drug screen,,ie actually watch hime pee in the cup..this pee will nothelp...if they r not watching him closely there r ways to use purchased pee to pass a drug screen...for a female there is a contraption they take in with a pouch of clean pee in their vagina..the pee has to be body temperature so this method solves this...there is a spout at the end of the pouch that can be switched on or off..if the client wears a skirt it would be very difficult to see the fact that she is  using this pouch as it is switched on and off..for a male if he is closely watched while he pees..this would seem more difficult

they told me that a man watches them pee & that my son was ok today ........ Got figure...than is it the "just in case" ????

From my experince,   I told you about the contraptions you can buy to use another person's urine to get a clean test  (male and female).   Your son  knows when he will be drug tested at rehab,  it certainly didn't take my daughter too long to figure that out... so she tested negative for all drugs, much longer than she should have during  round 2  of intensive out patient (following her inpatient treatment).....(  her doc was oxy  which does not stay in your urine as long as so many other drugs i.e.  esp. pot)   What she didn't know is when I would drug test....    and the tests I use are $49.99 for ONE test.....  and it does not register body  tempature.....  so she tried to use someone else's urine....  took her purse in the bathroom with her....  with mama on her heals..... what could she do other than confess...  needless to say she flunked.

I never thought my daughter would become so manipulative, not her nature,  but in addiction she was a master.  

Just a thought,  or what I experienced with the "urine swapping".    It may be more for you  than the out patient treatment center.  Or so that was my daughter's brilliant scheme,    that didn't work.

yup.........they can get really tricky with urine samples. you would be surprised what people contrive to get by !


often a search is done, or look over at their private parts will spot cotraptions. some have  rigs to keep on their body so the temp is up to par !

there is soooooo many ways to do it they actuallly have fake parts like a fake penis thst has synthetic urine in it that will pass u and it also has a warmer on it where u can keep it rite temp so there are ways or u just have someone clean pee for u hand get a hand warmer urself wth a thermomter and get it to be between 90-100 degrees thts all it takes so watvh em closely
