If he is talking about a Fentanyl patch, don't do it. Fentanyl is a bear to come off of. If he is talking about the Lidocaine patch, it may help you. It didn't for me but it is surely worth a try.
Acupuncture is a good suggestion. I did that many years ago and it provided a great deal of relief. The other thing that helped a lot for me was Aqua Therapy. It is non-resistant and it is the warm water that helps relieve the pain. I also use a hydrocolator which provides the same type of relief.
Let us know what the doctor says.
We have a lady on here who is finding relief from acupuncture.
IBKleen, Unfortunately no not yet. I'm searching EVERYWHERE. I meet with my pain specialist in 10 days to discuss a pain medication that cannot be abused somehow, like a patch that he personally gives me once a month or something? have you ever heard of something like that?
Have you found alternative methods to deal with the pain?
