Percocet Withdrawal

I have read this forum for several hours and have already gotten some answers.  I was prescribed Percocet for severe muscle spasms in my back.  Usually 1 or 2 would nip the spasm before it got too bad.  Then I discovered it helped me sleep also!  I also found it helped my mood, i.e., made me more talkative to my husband, more interesting.  You all know the rest of the story.  I am on day 9 without taking any Percs - but I've made a terrible mistake in taking Ambien, Valium or Xanax to help me sleep.  I was prescribed Valium 30 years ago for jumpy legs at night and they helped.  I stopped taking the Valium and relied on 1 or half of 1 Perc to help me sleep.  Ambien does nothing for me.  Xanax seemed to help a little but nothing like the small dose of Perc.  I started having nausea, no ambition, extremely tired for no reason, constipation and the general feeling of not wanting to do anything.  So I stopped taking the Perc 9 days ago.  I've already been through the chills and sweats at night and my bowels are starting to be normal again although sleep is being very elusive.  My question is I have a couple other symptoms that I haven't seen mentioned.  Has anyone experienced any ankle swelling or swelling in general?  I also have had several red spots on my body that itched terribly and once I scratched the itch, the area was hard as a rock.  I thought these were bites but they're not.  I haven't had any new ones in over a week.  Can someone comment on this please?

Sounds reasonable, but I'm not doing anything different other than stopping the drugs.

Thats kinda strange. Im not a dr but it sounds to me like some kind of allergic reaction. Maybe try some benadryl and consult with your dr.
