Percocet Withdrawals

Oh OK! I asked a question and ended up here and believe me I had already typed in my posting and spent an hour typing it up and my cat my kids called Hitler hit the Esc key and I know it was done on purpose. My kids call him that cause they think he is evil. I was just typing along about how I got out of bed because dreams have prompted me to get up and get my thoughts out about my parents and myself and not understanding addiction as soon as I mentioned God that cat hit the key. Well, I'll kick that cat before he comes by here again to hit the key. Here is what I was talking about. I was talking about how I did not understand at the time what was going on with my dad, now that I read up on the symptoms. I quit cold turkey 4 days ago, I was yelling thet it was freezing in the house and was feeling like I had sunstroke being outside in the sun in 90's and flulike symptoms. I wanted to throw up not eat, forcing myself to. you know what I'm going to write  this by hand because I feel that this will not print.

The hot/cold flashes are a normal symptom of opiate withdrawl (withdrawal).  Also, the mood swings, nausea and no appetite.  You are wise in getting off of them.

I am currently taking Oxycodone 10/325 for a back injury and I am physically addicted.  I see a Pain Management Doctor and everything.  There has been a couple of times when I have ran out of my meds ie..weekends, and It was the most horrible thing i have ever felt.  I will be finally kicking it soon though, well tapering off.  This forum is great so you have came to the perfect place.  Good luck with everything and know that you are not alone
