Percocet and Oxycodone Withdrawals

Down to 40-50mg per day from 120mg. I'm also taking 20mg daily of Prozac for anxiety which id also like to get off after 9 years. My question is should i wait till I'm completely off the oxy and through the withdrawals before I stop the Prozac? I feel like it might make the withdrawals worse if I stop both. I also suffer from chronic migraines which makes this whole process even worse if that's possible. Any suggestions to relief the migraines during the detox without triptans or narcs?

I also think you should stay on the Prozac until you kick the oxy's as long as you aren't self proscribing.  That being said, a talk with your doctor about going off them may be advised because they can give you different things to deal with the wds.
For your migraine's...have you ever heard of Maxalt.  I use it for my migraines and it works great.  It's a non-narcotic and has helped me immensely.  You have to take it at the onset of the headache, but other than that it works great - at least for me.

Hi and welcome! You will find lots of advice and support here. That's great that you are down to 40-40 mgs. Are you doing this with a doctors help? As far as Prozac, that is an antidepressant right? I would definately wait until you are completely off the Oxy and through withdrawals before quitting the Prozac. You should also do that under a doctors care. Are you prescribed these medications? Feel free to share your story and provide some more information. It will help us give you better advice. For the migraines have you tried Excedrin Migraine? I've heard that works pretty well.
