Percocet vs ms contin

What is the difference between percocet and ms contin? Which is stronger.
I was prescribed different pain medications but they either didn't work or
made me sick or dizzy or whatever. I asked the pharmacist what was
available ...not oxycontin or whatever but something that was equilivant to
percocet but different and he said ask the doctor about ms contin...
does anyone know?

MSContin would be morphine sulphate and is arguably the stronger depending on doses.........

My doctors have switched me from percocet to MS Contin.
I have yet to take the MS Contin. The Pharm. told me it was in the same family of percocet but i am still doubtful. The MS contin is suppose to be taken every 12 hours. I am afraid that if I take one I can't take anything else for pain if it doesn't work. I would have to wait 12 hours.
