Percs don't have Oxy in them, they are them, basically. Percocet and Oxycontin are the same drug, which is Oxycodone. I highly recommend that people get to know the drug they're taking (for any medicine) rather than the brand names. Oxycontin is Oxycodone in a concentrated form for longer sustained release. Lots of people have pain that breaks through that four hour window, or can't tolerate the pain when it's allowed to grow as one dose wears off before it's time to take the next one. So, the Oxy releases this same dose over a 12 hour period.
I am sorry my computer keeps jumping on me percs have tylenol oxys don't. Also i believe (not sure) but perks have 5 mgs and oxys can be 10, 20, 40 or 80. with no tylenol
