Pharmacies

Does the pharmacy tell a persons doctor that the paitent is getting his/her meds filled too soon?

I usually get mine filled about 2-3 days early. My insurance always covers it even if its a week early. And the pharmacy never says anything about it to me.Although I am trying to quit and have not taken any for 2 days (so far) I still wouldn't want to get into any trouble. My personal opinion is if the insurance is willing to pay for it then it can't be all bad but I also know how pharmacies are.

2-3 days early is normal because most people order their rx's a couple of days before the end of month so they won't run out.  MD won't be notified for that, but 2-3 days early every month after a year you will be way ahead then I don't know.  Try to take only as ordered and cut back if possible.  What are you taking and are you trying to cut back?

my scrpts are on an automatic refill 100 vicodin a month for one year. My insurance fills mine six days ahead of date, I always have xtra but I my doc said thats fine just to stay on scheduled dosing.
