Pills, pills, pills what to do.

Ok here it is. Lies, lies and more lies. I can't seem to get her to stop abusing pills. Anything she can get her hands on. Sneaky!! I've tried to be supportive, calm, understanding, mean, threatening,,, I've tried it all. There is no support from anyone in her family because they all have pretty much the same problems. They all take pills and they all lie. I never seen anything like this. I didn't even know how bad this whole pill thing was until I met her. I can't trust her, she won't even admit it when I catch her. This is unbelievable. I really don't need an answer to my problem, I know the answer. SHE'S GOT TO GO, AND FAST. I just want to give a word of advice to anyone in the same situation, SAVE YOURSELF THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO!! THEY DON'T GET IT AND ARE NOTHING BUT SELFISH!!! LEAVE THEM AND ENJOY THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!!

hi. you should really check out al-anon or nar-anon. or you can continue to harbor resentments which will make you miserable. chemical dependency sickens not only the afflicted individual, but those close to them as well. you can't make your wife/girlfriend get clean, but you can address your pain. take care,   gm

I understand exactly what your saying. my ex spouse was a gambler and he had a horrible dependancy on it. It affected his mood, i suffered alot of mental, emotional, verbal, and physical abuse. I dealt with it for 11 years.  I dont care what people say addiction is addiction no matter what type, and it affects us all the same. I finally had enough and put an EPO out on him and kept it going until the divorce went through.  I had left him several times before, but I finally got smart and felt it deep in my soul, body, and spirit that enough was enough and I need to live my life now. I am very happy now, and I only worry about my kids and me. The hell with him. Good luck

Good Luck to you, I have a 16 yr old son who got into drugs and its been a total nightmare. Suppose to take one day at a time, but for how long? Just wanted to say its no fun watching someone you love go thru this.
