Please help regarding Extacy

I have a horrible feeling that my disabled daughter who is 20 and has the mind of a 3year old may have been given extacy.  Could any of you please tell me the symptoms of being on the drug?  Is there a tremendous increase in sexual desire and do the eyes roll back in their head?  How long does the drug stay in the system?  Will a blood test show the drug?  Please respond as soon as possible.  Thank you.

I have never taken exstacy... I wish I had an answer for you..  I would assume it would increase sexual desire.. as far as your other questions I am no expert.  Stick around hopefully someone can answer... Most of us here are people addicted to pain pills.. but someone may know..

Holy cow, I have no idea what to tell you in this situation. I know that through research that X stays in the system for approx 9 hours. Less than 1% will be in her system at 72 hours. So, if you're within 3 days, she can probably be tested. most of the effects of X have to be verbalized (such as the euphoria experienced). I've seen people on X, never taken it though. I know it shows as an amphetamine on drug tests. Hope this is of some help. Oh yeah, the "official" name for X is MDMA or 3,4-Methylenedioxymethamphetamine...Cut and paste that name into a search engine and you'll get tons of info.

Constant sweating, touching everything, dilated pupils, and light sensitivity are pretty good indicators.  Everyone else has said what needs to be done.  Just keep an eye on her.

There are different kinds of X  some kinds have made me hallucinate.  Definite increase in sexual desire and eyes rolling back too.  Jaw clutching (like on coc) and everything feels like slow motion.  All of your senses are extra stimulated by everything.  You love everything; the way things look ,sound, feel and smell.  It can last for about 4 hours or so.  You can have a bad trip too.... I have felt like i was going to die.  She will be okay but it is important to hydrate her.   She will feel very dehydrated and it absorbs Vit. C so give her OJ if possible too.  This is what we used to do back in the days when we did it (5 years ago).

It can be tested, so take her to the doctors.   I sure hope she wasn't drugged.  I do hope you know who did this so you can press charges!

Dilated pupils, sweating, touching everything, light sensitivity can be an indication of about a hundred different things especially in a disabled brain. Unlike some amphetamines and methamphetamines like cocaine, ecstacy increases only serotonin. An insanely huge increase in serotonin, when coming down the serotonin receptors are so "drained" that this causes a moderate to severe depression and/ or inability to sleep b/c the body is so greatly lacking in serotonin once the drug has left the system. Take a hair sample. You should probably be sure of any substances that she might have had. Have your doctor take a strand of her hair or you can do it with a home kit you can get over the internet. A strand of hair will tell you definitively any drugs she has had in her system for the past 60 days.

I don't have a lot of info. about your daughter as to what exactly is going on in her brain or what the situation or her surroundings are so it's hard to even attempt to say it could have been this or that. Your best course is just to watch her very closely and get a strand of her hair tested so you know for sure what she has been exposed to (if anything). Depending on her situation (who was around, where she was, etc.) The symptoms might not even be drugs but an anxiety attack, for example. Like I mentioned above, it could have been hundreds of things with the info. I have other than the fact that you do suspect ecstacy and there has to be a reason for that. I hope this is helpful and there's no huge rush on the hair follicle test unless you might be concerned that she could need medical attention b/c of this. Certain medications she is taking (if any) will need immediate medical attention if combined with ecstacy or other substances. Check her pulse make sure it stays normal, check her temperature, and pupils (basically any vital signs that you are able to check while at home).

I have been on X about 3 times. I really doubt she was given exctasy based on the motive. Who and how would she have been slipped X. It would have cost someone around 20 bucks for this.

If she has the mentality of a 3 year old sexual desire would not increase just because of the drug. It is building up effect that comes from people being extremely sociable positive, empithetic and caring. Then comes the extreme attrction. Everyone is different, however, when I was on it, I did not have crazy sexual cravings.

Make sure you give the person enough water. The main cause of death from X is dehydration. Hope everything goes well.
