Please i need sleep help im goin crazy

i am on day 7 from a hydrocodone addiction. i have been takin them for about 2 years altogether but it wasnt bad until about 5 months ago. the most per day i was takin was about 4 10mg pills in one day.For most of the time i was only takin maybe 2 or 3 a per week.

I am having the worst sleep of my entire life and every night i have been waking up and not bein able to fall back asleep.thank god for my girlfriend because she calms me down when i wake up and cry to her over the phone.(literally cry.and i was never the person to cry to anyone) i have support from her and my family i am 23 years old and live with my parents. i cannot sleep for more than 4 hours at a time.

yesterday i woke up at 2 AM and couldnt sleep anymore cuz i slept for about 8 total hours on christmas during the day. so i stayed up all day and went to work at 12pm till 8pm and i was exhausted.i went to sleep at 9PM only to wake up at 1AM and not being able to fall back asleep.so i called my girlfriend at about 230 let out my agony and then took a sleeping pill at about 350AM. i fell asleep about 430AM again only to sleep until about 6 or 630AM.

Does anyone feel the same as me?and also i am basically begging for help on how to get normal sleep back.i can deal with every other part of this and i have no desire to take any more hydros but the sleep thing is jus drivin me crazy i jus want to have some normal sleep. PLEASE HELP anything will be greatly appreciated

I was taking a much stronger drug and much more of it than you.  I am now on day eight.  I have completely eliminated caffeine from my diet and am drinking lots of green tea during the day (helps detox the body) and chamomile at night (helps relax the body).  I am feeling better today mentally, but I have a bladder infection that I am now having to deal with.  Oh. Joy!

I took Xanax my first day of withdrawals and literally slept about 22 of the 24 hours of that day.  Then I took Somas to help me sleep the next three days and then last night I took Xanax again.  I've taken Xanax off and on for years without any withdrawals when I stop so I feel safe with that.  But be advised that it is addictive.  If you can get some, just take it as prescribed and DO NOT abuse it.

The Thomas Recipe and the Amino Protocol has really helped me.  You should go out and get those ingredients today.  And visit your doctor and tell him your sleep concerns.  Maybe he can prescribe something for you in the short term until the worst of this goes away.

you shoul be all good in a few more dayz, but thas just the withdraws. after that ya start the fight to stay off the pills. that one can be tougher mentally, but least the physical **** will  be over soon. most i heard of w/ds lastin was bout 14 dayz, but that person wuz on wayyy higher doses than you.

how long do u think it will take to get through it? or how long does it usually take for a addiction of my calibur

this is normal for anyone withdrawing from pills. try melatonin for sleep, and read thru the thomas recipe on the health pages located in the upper right of this screen. congrads on the day 7 , ya are almost past all the worst of it!!
