Precipitated (forced) withdrawal after taking 18mg Suboxine 2 days ago - feel fine but for how long?

Here is my problem:  I've been used to taking almost 20 30mg roxi's a day.  I waited 16 hours after my last dose (big mistake - did not wait long enough) and did an 8mg Suboxone film.  Within 20 minutes, I experienced precipitated withdrawals.  Worst thing that has ever happened to me - by far.  World came crashing down on me and had every symptom in the book - cold/hot flashes, runny nose, yawning every minute, "gooseflesh", crazy kicking and restlessness...list goes on and on.  After a couple of hours in hell, I took another 8mg Sub thinking I hadn't taken enough.  Didn't do a thing.  Then after another few hours of more hell, I decided to just take 10 30mg pills again.  Anything to make me feel better.  Weirdly enough, I started to feel a bit better and slept the rest of the night.  This happened two days ago.  I haven't had any more Subs and haven't done any more pills since I haven't felt bad at ALL.  In fact, I feel great.  I don't crave the oxy's anymore and just feel back to normal.  You'd think it's because of the Subs but I only took 16mg two days ago and that's it.  Maybe I'm still feeling the half life of the Subs...since they do last 36 hours on average (the half life).  Anyway...just thought I'd share my story.  If this is it for me, this was a DREAM to get off those horrible oxy's that controlled my life.  What is going on with me?  Are the withdrawals over for good?

HI your still pumped up on the sub.....when taken in a high dose 8x3 it becomes a full antagonist thats why the pills helped the sub became a full antagonist insted of 1/2 antagonists like it is suppose to for releaving drug withdrawals.....I will venture to say in a few days your ether going to be in full blown oxy withdrawals or sub its hard to say but more then likley it will be oxy......you guys need to quit trying to self induce sub to yourself as you already know a lot can go wrong I posted on this last week the post was tytled self medicating with sub if you go back maby 4 or 5 pages you can read it but sub and methadone should be left to a doctor ....where all about do it yourself on here but some things do require a doctor to avoid disaster....it looks like you may be heading into one again make an appointment and do it right good luck and God bless.......Gnarly

Thanks gnarly_1! Appreciate your response.  Makes sense as to why the added pill use helped to bring me stable.  How many days do you venture to say that I will begin to feel the ill-effects again?  Just want to be prepared.
