I would recommend a re-test and this time a blood rather than urine test. I have pernicious anemia (a weird blood disorder) and have my blood drawn at least once evey 3 months. My tests are done by a Hemotoligist at the hospital lab to ensure there are no mistakes caused by the transfer of my sample from the doc's ofc to the lab....... Even with these precautions, my tests have to be re-done at least once a year due to an error....... it happens.
I agree completely with "theeagle" and think it is best if you pursue the acccuracy of your test, you know what meds you haven taken, and there is obviously a mistake. I would take the time for a re-test , rather than someone (your doc) question my credibiltiy.
Best wishes to you and your baby.
Since you know the real deal I would also advise another test - whether it is a different lab or a different test type - the drug interaction with the liver is what I was talking about in first post - that breakdown and conversion is too often picked up as yet another drug postitive. You know what the real score is. Ask for a test that will settle the doubt. It looks worse if you dont pursue it your self........
ask for a retest see if they will give ya the blood test-
After a little research I found that a small part of hydrocodone breakes down into hydromorphone (Dilaudid). That must be what the test is picking up. I called my dr. back to discuss this with her. I am not going to take another test if this is the case. They already know that I am taking vicodin and that will explain the results. I do not want two positive dts for dilaudid, that won't look good. I am going to talk to her about my taper schedule to make sure that they want me to stick to that.
Drug tests do lie occasionally - - or perhaps they become confused - - both false positives and false negatives. About all you can do is re-test and keep your lines open to the doctor - - and know in your own heart and mind that you are not prevaricating here - - -
Did they watch you give the sample or were you alone in the restroom? You should always watch them put your name on the sample and seal it. That is the way I always had my clients do, to ensure proper idenity of the sample. They are not perfect, but some UA's are tampered with by the client if they are not watched. I am not saying you did, but again always make sure you are watched and you see your name on the sample. What state are you from? not to make you mad at me, but drug tests do not lie. Just retest and do it as I said, and there should not be any problems.

It was a 10-panel drug screen (urine) and no I didn't watch them seal it or put my name on it.
What kind of test was it? Did you watch then seal it with your name on it?
Not sure why it showed those results. Sorry I cant offer any suggestions. I would say just retest.
Thats not as uncommon as you might want to think. The labs and the tests are both fallible. Have the Doc run another test immediately. One problem is that the liver converts several basic opiates during the process....... and the many labs that have sprung up do make mistakes. Stay honest and keep communication open with your physicians...............and best of luck to you -
