Prescribed drug withdrawal

Prescribed drug withdrawal

dont know if you can answer my question, as I don't seem to be able to get any answers!
I was given Dogmatil 50mg for virtigo, & was told to keep taking them which I did for nearly 2years.
When I visited another Dr. he told me that I should not be taking Dogmatil, and took me straight off of them!
I have been suffering withdrawal now for 7 weeks, how long is this likely to last?
I am getting better but am now getting inpatient, as I want to feel well again.
Thank you.

Dogmatil is not approved for use in the USA so you may not get as many responses as usual. Dogmatil is an antipsychotic med that is used off label for depression and insomnia. There were no severely strong contra's or warnings about dogmatil. You may want to check out another antidepressant. Were you diagnosed with a specific reason for the vertigo? You may want to try another med or you might want to check out another antidepressant - - quite likely that you would benefit from a change as opposed to just stopping them.
