Prescribed drugs and staying clean from illegal drugs

Hello to everyone. I posted yesterday that i have been clean for 1 month yesterday. I was diagnosed at 23 with adult ADHD, depressive mood disorder anxiety and ocd. I was prescribed Dexamphetamine(dexies) For the adhd, Effexor for the depression and currently trying to find a mood stabelizer tried tegretol years ago didn't work just tried lithium and it made me really ill and now i am about to start taking Lamictal. i was told by my doc to try taking the half of lithium but it still continued to make me sick so I stopped Although the lithium was working really well it helped alot with the adhd. Anyway I havn't been taking the dexies since June i think. Now my devil drug is Crystal meth and the last time i used was July 11 2008 I was using everyday and when i stopped it was hell but i got through it everyday is a struggle. Last week i started taking my add meds every 2nd or 3rd day to try and calm the hyper side of the add. On sunday i took my 35mg of dexies they come in 5mg tablets. I didn't have any yesterday and was ok but this morning i woke up and felt like **** just like i did on the 2nd day with out my usual 2 lines of crystal. with out even thinking i took 4 dexies.
Now my question is am i still classed as being clean even though i am taking a prescribed medication for my ADHD or am i back to square 1. I only realised this this morning when i was feeling like **** so i took my adhd meds and now i feel great energised and happy. I will always be an addict i realise that but i feel like **** now and i have been thinking about scoring all morning and i get payed tomorrow can someone help me i need to know I havn't touched crystal meth for 31 days and i am really proud of myself or have i relapsed without even knowing by taking my adhd meds?
Thankyou to anyone that can help me I am confused.

Girl sorry i've been MIA for a while.  I sent you a PM.  Take your scripts 'as prescribed'.  Don't go for days w/o then take a handful.  Doing that IS addict behavior, and once you feel like you have failed, it will give you the excuse you're looking for to go get the meth.  What you need is the consistent stabalization of your moods.  Don't wait for it to go to one extreme or the other then medicate.  Take them as the doctor tells you.  Give it a couple months then decide if the drug is working or not.  You're doing so great off the meth!!  Don't look for any excuse to go back to it!

You do the same thing i do....Think to much....and drive yourself crazy....I would say if you are doing what doctor perscribed and not doing the "TINA" then you are not back at square 1.....

I guess if you take your adhd meds just to feel good or just to 'get high' because you feel sick or you feel like ****, then I would say that you may be addicted to those as well. Prescription drugs are one of the most abused drugs out there. Just because they are prescribed doesn't mean they are safe. Crystal was my DOC for the first 5 years of my drug use as well and coming clean from that (been 2 years) wasn't easy. But now I am addicted to prescription meds. If you don't need them for your adhd then I wouldn't take them... but if you are using them as prescribed then I would say you are safe and that its okay. Stay away from the crystal... it turns you into horrible things trust me i've been to rock bottom because of crystal and its much easier when your at the top looking down at what you overcame than being at the bottom looking up at what you wish you became. (if that makes sense to you?) Good luck!! and let me know how your doing.
