katie, I was paying 5.00 a pill from the doctor. I found out my insurance covers it so I just got a refill for 60.00. The first script cost me 150.00 for 30 so the insurance is nice. I've heard of some people paying as much as 20.00 a pill.

Thats what I am paying. I can only get 6 to 8 pills at a time. I didn't know but maybe there is a company that would help pay

If you have insurance find out to see if they will cover my insurance pays for it I pay 15.00 for 120 of the 2mg this last prescription was for 60 of them of 2mg for the same 15.00 I should have my doctor give me 120 so that I wont have to pay next month but anyways find out.

How long have you been on it?  I would suggest getting down to a maintenance level of about 2-4 mgs, that way it will only cost you half of what your paying. Also call alot of different pharmacies. You'd be suprized at the difference in prices from each pharmacy.

I pay of course, my portion to the insurance company to see the psychiatrist-20% is my portion.  Haven't seen that bill yet.  My script is $50 for 90-2 mg pills. A one month supply.  I've seen CRAZY rates on this forum.  Like $500 the first time they meet and $150 each visit thereafter.  Insane.

I pay about 190.00 for 30 pills, its like 390 for 60, I also pay 75.00 everytime I go to see the dr, my insurance doesn't cover any of it. I wish there were some way but its out of pocket and thats it for me, which is difficult because when I was on the pain pills I would only pay a copay of 3.00 so BIG difference! Good Luck

Yeah, All my therapy to get over the pain killer addiction is ridiculous!!!  The therapy.  The gas to get NA meetings, The Sub, The Cymbalta to help with the PAWS induced depression.....It's a pretty penny versus the $1.99 script price for the oxycodone....sick.  For the guy who keeps telling me I'm looking for a pill remedy for my pill addiction...thanks bro.  Trust me, I WOULD do this on my own if I could.  I can't even switch to a cheaper insurance plan right now because this would be considered a pre-existing condition and NONE would be covered.  Hindsight's 20/20 right?  Should've sold those ba$tar)$ instead of gotten hooked on 'em. I would've MADE money instead of LOST.  Dang.

Each dr can get 2 patients free suboxone from the company if you are poor like me. Just have to fill out paper work at dr office. I did for 2 yrs which is the maximum time you can get free ones

Im not sure how true this is or bot but one of my friends say that insurance usualy won't pay for them or I'd they do they do t pay much because it's not their fault u r addicted(this is what his doc told him) and he said his doc called the pharmacy and got them to tell the insurance co that they were for pain not addiction cause the paitent could not take the other pain meds cause they r rough on his stomach and he said the insurance covered it from there on out just like any other med but like I said not sure how true that is but I do know my insurance blue cross will not cover subs because they say that addiction is not a medical problem which is GARBAGE so I never tried them cause like you I juat couldn't afford them and my med bills after my back surgery cause they r just outrageously expensive
