Question about my xanax for sleep.

okay, so if I took methadone 48 hours ago...when would I be ok to take my .5 xanax again to hopefully get some sleep? I've read AWFUL things about taking those two meds. and I know the methadone stays in your body for way too long. I've just slept awful both nights since I took the AWFUL methadone in the first place. I'll never take that evil drug again~definitely learned my lesson the hard way! thanks for anyones info.

thank you!!! I'm really trying to keep 'one day at a time' in the back of my mind at all times. I think about tomorrow and then the whole next week...and so on... and so on.. and I panic! If I can take this day by day and try not to panic I know I'll be ok! ;) thanks again!

I am going to have to agree with you lol..I am glad it didn't agree with you too!!..Don't take that ****. Your fine on the xanax..and congrats for cutting down the norco.you are doing good. Keep it up girl!

I only took the methadone on friday. You and a couple others (I think?) told me not to take it and I did anyway. IDIOT!! lol, I learned my lesson however and won't be taking anymore methadone. I've done well as far as my original norco problem, took 3 yesterday because of the MASSIVE migraine (from the methadone?). and so far today only 1 1/2 and I fell ok. I hate not sleeping at night and I'd really like to take my xanax! I just kept reading horror stories about methadone and xanax though. scared the heck outta me! Sooooo, hopefully if I can take my darn xanax so I can sleep, I can stay at the LOWEST dosage of norco possible for my tapering that I desperately am trying to do. thanks again and I wish I would've listened in the 1st place about the methadone. EVIL drug and I'm almost glad it disagreed with me as much as it did. ;)

you'll be fine ..I came off methadone and also took xanax but I didn't know that at the time..anyway you will be ok after this long and .5 isn't that much..methadone is an evil drug. How long have you taken it?
