Question for the guys
This is primarily for the guys, but gals..if you know of guys that experienced this..please, share. We all know these pills deaden sensations, and I guess that's what's happened to me during sex. Let's just say that the sensation is back, and I'm a minute man in bed. Any guys have this and how long did it last??

i felt bad because id been ignoring him and he wasnt asking for it so I did it. It wasnt so bad. The other night tho, wow....I went 4 times and him once. Girls are so rad!
i have had the same prob....when i clean up my act i am a minute man......my trick is (was) to rub out a batch prior to the action...i have no props staying up so i look like a controlled superman...lil women has multibles before i am reloaded.....it is not the same but i do it for her...she should not suffer because of my addiction(s)....that's all i can tell ya...it is funny in a way cuz i'm 40 and it was like i was 16 again...good ol' 4 stroke. lol....i just read fladdicts sudgestion.....that's it man........................good luck...................hammertime!

My suggestion is to prior to engaging with your wife, take matters in your own hands. then you will have one over with so you can last longer when you get into bed with your wife.
this happens to all men at one time or another. when it happened to my hubby he obsessed over it for weeks.. dont do that.. makes it worse.

On a serious note, the worst thing that can happen is you start obsessing on this and it gets in the way of anything happening at all. Try not to let it get to you. As long as we can all joke about it...hopefully we'll be able to "Do our duty for our country! So go out there and win one for the Gipper!!! :)
this is a great post...informative with alot of humor...and Bettie, i refuse to accept pity f**ks... if hes not all there...then forget it...so i am with IBKleen on this one...i told hubby a few weeks ago that i thought it looked like it was starting to disappear...he looked at me extremely concerned, looked down at it and asked "NO WAY...REALLY!?" , like he actually believed me....i guess you all know why part of the reason my screen name is wait2long...LOL!!! i wish everybody success in this area....

ive never had a sex drive unless i was high and then watch OUT! and IM on the zoloft and hes on the prozac and zoloft. We worked just fine together.
OMg !! Pity f***s Bettie....lol. that is so funny! you go some pretty good advice Ga Guy.......so I will keep quiet, because, I'm sorry......for some reason I am laughing my *** off right now.......I'm in one of those moods today so I'ts best I keep my foot in mouth disorder in check on this one.

i think this is a female issue too...For so long on the pills (plus lexapro) i guess i have been a faker...my husband would die if he knew that, because he is just that kind of man...never worried about pleasing himself..i come first for everything to him..Which is great..
After i was off of this pills it did come back, that was great...now still have issues with the lexapro, but definetly things have improved, and that is always a plus...So i think you will be fine and it will be fine..Sometimes i think if we worry about it, that just makes it more of a problem..OUR minds play a big role in that department also..
Listen to all the advice you can get here...Although i feel that is a personnal thing, it is a very natural thing, and everyone here has been there i think.

heh, i had the same thing happen to me yesterday. If your other is willing, try to do it more often. at first you will not be able to hold back. Then, the second time around you will have already finished once. This time, you will last for 2 minutes. lol. take it as a blessing...sex is back...
Thanks for all the suggestions guys and gals. It's just one thing about recovery that I never anticipated. I read about all of these other wd symptoms and was aware of them. This was unexpected and basically sucks. Guess time will tell. And, no, I am not being put on any medication for it. I don't respond well to antidepressants.
LMAO! No $hit huh? It had been a month last night and since Ive been outta detox, 66 days, a total of THREE times weve done it. The first two were pity F*$Ks but last night I was rarin to go. Could be cuz I was up til 4 am cleaning....then I went and woke him up lol.
oh yea and p.s my bf is on zoloft and weening off of prozac and the pencil lead was just fine! :)
