Quick question, drugs and drug tests

Hey everybody, Im sure this isnt the correct forum I should ask this question on, but I had signed up a couple days ago about trying to determine whether I did have a problem or not.  Anyways in my previous post I had mentioned that I had about 15 drug tests (I will explain), Some of the drug tests were from my previous pain management doctor, it was a rule they had to ensure that I was not taking any other medications other than the ones prescribed, and the others were for job interviews.  I ended up leaving my previous PM doctor because my drug tests kept coming up negative for Opiates (I am on Norco 10/325 x 10 p/d ), and without asking or saying anything he accused me of selling my medications which is NOT true!  Well after I left him because that piss3d me off, I went to another PM doctor, same mediacations... So I started taking drug tests for new jobs and they kept coming up negative... so then I stopped telling the employers that I was on Norco so they wouldnt tell the people administering the tests that I was taking the medication thinking that if they knew I was on it, they wouldnt report it on the test... so needless to say 4 drug tests later, they are all coming up negative... Can somebody tell me why this is happening???  Anybody?  It is the weirdest thing!!!

i also had a test that said i was negative as well and i was taking 10/325 norcos too i was taking much more than u and in fact i had just taken 6 of em bout two hrs b4 test and nothing showed up weird i would like to no the answqer to just curious but i have no idea why

Yeah I did that too, well not 6 but I took 3 about an hour or so before the test a couple times... Its just so damn weird!  I have had about 4 doctors tell me that is impossible to happen... APPARENTLY NOT!!!

many standard drug screens only test for codeine and morphine...at my work hydro nor oxy shows up!  that is why

Hmm, the same thing happened to my sister.  She was taking 8 percocets a day and she took her urine test and nothing showed?? There are 2 different tests as I understand it...  The doctor can order a level test or simply a drug test just to show its in your system.... Mine always came back that I was taking what was prescribed, thats why they do it!  The Dr said to my sister it does happen and he wasnt worried about it,  Maybe your system matabolizes quicker?  Afterall some meds are short acting OR if  you took it hours before the test maybe it wasnt absorbed enough into your bloodstream??

As for PntcBonneSSE If your taking a drug test for work, I think I would be honest with them .. What IF the test came back positive for these meds? Then you look deceptive and your not!  If you tell them you take them for medical reasons then if they show up in your drug test your OK!  A work drug test they are looking for Pot, Coke  ect....

Hey thank you for your response!  I know for sure that they test for opiates like hydrocodone, especially for the doctors and the work drug tests because I actually asked when somebody called me to discuss the results.  My medications are prescribed, and the ONLY reason I did not say I was taking them is because I knew they would come up negative.  I knew it was kind of dumb, had anybody asked previous to the test I would have said I was taking them, but they did not, so I just took the test.  If it had come up positive I would have brought in the RX bottle and show that it is a legal prescription, I only did it because I was TRYING to get proof that these medications are NOT showing up!  I did also take a dose an hour or a little more before the tests each time, because I take 2 every 4 hours...  I just couldnt believe that the first thing my doctor accused me of was selling the drugs... You know... I am unemployed right now (which SUC*S), and if I were selling the 300 Norcos I got a month, I would think that I had some more money hahaha.
