Quick question

went back to my doctor, the one thats tapering me off xanax, and they prescribed me Trazodone for sleeping. the melatonin did work, but the doctor told me not to take it while tapering off xanax. I think the doctors just don't agree with herbs, because THEY know nothing about them! Anyway, is Trazodone a dangerous OR addictive drug? I'm going to wiki and google it, but I wanted input from you all too! thanks for any info. side note: it knocked me OUT last night, and I only took one and they told me to take two a night.. hope everyone is well today!!!! xoxoxo

more good news, my anxiety is much better after only 2 days of trazodone and I slept! I'm happy I finally found an ad that works.

oh so glad to hear that from both of you! I've felt calmer and more relaxed today, interesting. I'm RARELY relaxed. I've even been able to watch TV today and pay attention. I'm glad it may work for me! :)

if it does not work..maybe try elavil..it worked for me after m divorce and is also non-habit forming..it is a good choice tho,,,give it a good shot for at least 2 weeks before deciding against it

My boyfriend takes it and it isn't addictive.. it is just an antidepressant that they found worked as a sleep aid.
