RESTLESS LEGS AND ACHES!!!

I just dropped down from 15 mg of Percocet per day to 7.5 mg per day and I am having horrible leg aches. It seems to be all day but worse when I am not up and around.  I have been taking the Hyland's leg cramp medicine as well as Calcium and aleve.

How long do the restless legs last??  I have been weaning slowly after over two years of horrible pain.  I haven't taken percocet the whole time.  I started out with Ultram and Tylenol #3 and back then 1/2 of a Percocet 7.5 would completely knock my pain out.   After a year or so it was not enough.  Pretty much I have stayed under 40 mg of Percocet then I had surgery and I am weaning down.  I am wondering if I should quit now.  But I still have pain so I don't know what to do.  But the pain may get better if I am not on any pain meds other than anti-inflammatories and Tylenol.

have you tried that restless leg medicine?  I can't remember what it's called, but go to the pharmacy or health food store & they'll probably be able to show you.  Besides that all I can say is soak in the bath as much as you can.
Sorry I don't know what to say about how long it's going to be like that...everyones situation is different.

It is called "requip." I had the same problem last week...thought my legs had a life of their own. I just had to work off the energy,,,,lots of walking and working out.

I am currently taking 6-7 10 mg percocets a day after about 5 hours from my last pill I get sever leg cramps.  I would love it quit but the cramps come on quick I scared to try to stop the pills
