I posted this in another thread, but thought it might help someone here.
A while ago, a very good friend was battling with RLS. She was not an addict or anything, but still have RLS quit a bit in the late afternoon, and almost every night.
I did some research for her and found out her trigger was SALT. She liked her salt on food, etc.. She cut her salt intake back, and especially after 4pm did NOT eat salt AFTER 4. Her symptoms all but disappeared.
I can't promise anything for those in our situation, but it seems worth the try. It took a few days and her RLS was almost completely gone....!!!!!
