Ready to Quit Norco 10-325

Taking 6 10-325 Norco from doctor for 5 years, never any more. Just turned 60 and need to stop

I had both knees replaced and one went bad with a staph infection so they had to do another replacement,wow! The pain was bad so I was put on 180 norco 10-325 a month for the last 5 years from a pain management doctor ''pill pusher'' i think. lately I have been taking more than 2 every 6 hours and Im starting to count them to make sure I don't run out before my next refill, so I had better stop now or things are going to get out of hand. So glad i found this site

Hey Friend,
Congrats on your choice to quit and gain control of your life. You are in the right place. This place was all I had when I quit, no family or friends to share it with, just here, and it is the best. 5 years is long, but the dose is not as bad as many. I was on over 240 mg per day. Your age doesn't matter, you will do fine. Be prepared to have the flu. Hunker down for a week or more if you can. Stay hydrated, and get ensure for when you can't eat. You will find so much info here. It is a Saturday night so it's not busy in here, but more people will be in later I am sure. The mental stuff like anxiety hangs on after the physical is gone, but you can beat it, if I did it ,you can do it.
