Really worried

61 days clean and here I sit freaking out cuz I have to see my surgeon tomerrow. Still have a big lump on my chest, worried they might have to lance it that means pain. If thay try to give me pain meds Im going to turn them down, Ill take Ibuprophen instead, just have to tuff it out. That does not stop my mind from frightening the heck out of me. Isnt it way to soon to take that junk? Oh man my mind is not being nice to me rightnow. Anyway God Bless and prayers for all.

I don't know the nature of your lump, but I have had  calcified cists  removed,  one  on my chest and they usually use a topical then a novocane type of freezing. If that's the nature of your lump as well, then don't worry, you won't need anything afterwards, it will feel better that it's out, and you may have a few stitches that are annoying at worst.

If they are doing biopsy first, all you will get is a topical to deaden the nerves at the skin surface.

Is there someone who knows your situation that can go with you to offer support in saying no? Just remember you can do this,deep breathes and believe me you will feel great after you say no, very empowering :-)

62 days and Ill still be clean and sober forever. They lanced the lump on my chest, the only bad thing about that was they didnt give the medicine time to work they just started cutting away. Im not toproud to say it hurt like heck, I hollered like an animal, took about 15 minuets from the time they gave me the shots. I did ask that he not give me the shots but he said it would hurt alot if I didnt get the shot. It was like they never gave me the shots. The reason I asked for no shots was I knew the shot would hurt as lancing it, and I was right. Then my poor wife was sitting right there and she started crying cuz she couldnt stand seeing me in that much pain. So anyway how was your day. Hope all of my friends hare are doing well and God Bless and keep on fighting the good fight

i am sorry it hurt so much. how are you feeling now?
do they have to biopsy the tissue?

N no biopsy, as u know in April I was bit by black widow and what was in my chest was just left over from that ,they did not get all the infection out so mow it is gone . We will now see how much better my life gets without that pain and worriy.Yes indeed he is great, he didnt leave me today cuz without my faith I would not have let the Dr cut me that was wprst then being shot. Any way how are you getting along? Stay strong and keep up the good fight.Also God Bless

Day 63. Today was for the most part pain free. To my  friend Gnarly I will not get infection cuz my wife works in the medical field, and has experience with this type thing.I was really happy when I awoke this morning with no pain. Thanks for all the help moving foreward and God Bless all
