ADDICTION: SUBSTANCE ABUSE COMMUNITY
Record opium harvest

Record opium harvest

CNN just reported that our enemies have succeeded in making a world record opium harvest in Afghanistan and Pakistan. This means only one thing..MUCH more pure, inexpensive and readily available heroin and fentanyl will soon be on US streets. The enemy is launching an attack by eroding our society with the most addictive drugs known.PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THEM! I know that addiction to any drug is a darn tough issue, but buying their product only finances future terror operations. This is worrisome because even in my small rural town, heroin use typically begins in 6th or 7th grade, now being the drug of choice over pot. It is already cheap and very easy to obtain.
I would respond to more posts regarding opiate withdrawl (withdrawal) but have no experience in this area...there seem to be plenty who do and offer great help.
Medications are lifesavers when taken as prescribed..it's when we abuse or street buy that we get into the worst predicaments, including legal. Steve

Thank you for reminding us of another reason to stay clean!
We should make a list of the reasons.  It might inspire others.

Now you know why the Terrorist are so crazy. I have friends in Iraq and Afghanistan and they say the Terrorist can go for days fighting without any fear of death.
