rehab is the best foundtion you can give yourself ,sometimes if possible sober living house for a while after rehab the clothing treatment program because as you know its far harder when you are in the ""real world" .dealing with real problems and the stresses of like but i FIRMLY believe it will give you the best foundation for sober living
My honesty is only seeing the truth and I sincerely hope you will make it this time as you are worth it. So go to rehab and get better and stay better. I am praying hard for you so you can make it to the otherside and have everlasting sobriety. God is Blessing you---Rick
Oh also. The one I went to and stayed at was 12 step. It was run by 90% ex addicts. They were amazing there, broke me down to the core and built me up again. I just wasnt done with using I suppose as I was still young and stupid. But, it did help me.
Maybe rehab is best for you, just don't use it as an excuse to use while you wait. That's what I did and almost went to jail for a long time in the mean time. I was lucky really.
Also if you do go, think about what kind if rehab you want. Theyre all different. I actually went to two primary rehabs (where you can't go out) and one secondary (where you can go out in the day). I only stayed at the one, the other one I jumped out of a second story window to get away and nearly broke my legs. Don't get me wrong I appreciated the help but it was more like a mental hospital than rehab.
Moral of the story is do your research, they all have different methods, most work for some people and not others.
rich i understand what yor saying m8 im 10 dats clean bt good ppl like youersl say one thing others say rehab. i i slep 6 hours last night. this is just so confusing ,,,,james
How's tricks? Is everything ok, I thoughtvyou were feeling better. Just wanted to say, rehabs no easy way out, I went for 3 months and relapsed when I came out.
The help I got there was amazing but it was all down to me in the end. It's easy to stay clean when your locked up and in cotton wool! It's still just as hard when you get out.
At the end of the day you've just gotta want it yourself.
You're over 10 days clean, why are you thinkin of going to rehab? Ignore me if I'm going to far but how are you paying for it? I had to wait 9 months to get funding to go, you don't wanna go back using while you wait. 9 months could be a day too long for you!
Ilike both your honesty. But if i dont go to rehab i will die Iwill do this i know i can or i lose everything ,,,james ps can anyone tell me why im so confused head hurts so badly ?
James I have been following your posts and know you try then replapse over and over. I hope you will make it this time and really get into your sobriety seriously. I wish you luck and I will pray for you that God guides you to doing the right things in life---Rick
Its too early for PAWS you just need to do it James and then when you get out you still have to continue care. you have to decided that you truly want to get clean .Honestly I am not quite sure you want too .However I would love to see you prove me wrong and do this and stick with it ..... show yourself and family you want this they are the most important as well as yourself
