Relapsed again 48 hours in Need Help

I do not know what it is but this is the 5th time this year I've put myself through this.  I have been going to therapy which helps with the underlying issues but i still find myself after a week or few weeks craving and then caving.  I realized that I needed to cut out the friends that have access to these, it is all I can think off because I always call them when i have that craving.

The physical part has not been that bad as its only be 34 days on, but the feeling of failure is tough.  Thanks for listening

This quote really is helping me finish what I started "There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth; not going all the way, and not starting." your halfway now go all the way, cause you are strong!!!

I totally agree with the above posters. What's going to be different this time around? Cut all people out of your life that can give you pills. Too tempting. Have you ever tried NA? Or do you have access to meetings? I have found them so helpful.
Keep posting, take it one hour at a time and when you get those cravings, just stop and pause and tell yourself, drugs will never fix you.

Sometime it is the thinngs going on in our life that make us crave them to knock out the pain, even if it is just for a couple of hours. I know that is how I was and still am but with help from the people in here I am finding the inner strength to say no to myself, which I never had to say before. You are human as we all are, lige is tough sometime but the easy road is not the best road. Good things in life are never free the always cost something, so I am learning this. I am on my 7th day of tapering and have decided to go CT this morning. I hope I have enough courage to do it. If not these awsome people in here will help me as they will help you too. Haing in there your babies are worth it, you are worth it.

You may have slipped up a little but it's not a total failure because you're HERE.  And great to have you posting again.

We learn from our mistakes so learn from this one and move forward.  You are absolutely right about cutting all ties to getting more pills.  It is next to impossible to quit if you think you can run and get something any time you panic or feel desperate - believe me I know.  It just doesn't work that way.

And CONGRATS to you on the 48 hours - well done.  Keep going and there's no need to dwell on what's already happened.  It's self-defeating and serves NO purpose during withdrawal/recovery.  You'll get there just go slow with it and keep your expecations for feeling better too quickly in check and you'll be able to tackle each symptom as it comes.  You probably already know the drill here - but remember to check out the stuff on the thomas recipe and the amino acid protcol.  The vitamins/supplements were a HUGE help to me.  I honestly didn't think it would help and I was so so wrong.

You CAN do this.  :)
