Remember me?

I have beat the percocet an opana and oxy problem. Some of you might remember me but my screen name was tiredofpills not tiredofpills1. Well i went thru pill withdrawls twice and it was f****** HELL. I dont have a pill problem now and thatnk god i dont even think about them. My problem now is that i need to drink or smoke herb or do coke to get thru the day. I do coke at least 2 to 3 times a month and been drinking for about 3months straight and smoked her about 50 times. I was never like this after i quit the pills. Yes i went thru a divorce and now my kids live in another state and i miss them so much. Do you think im depressed? WHAT THE FUDGE IS GOING ON WITH ME?

it sounds to me like you are a bit depressed also a little bit quilty about all the stuff you are doing , is there a doctor you can see for your depression? self medicating is not the answer as you know, keep posting and please give up the junk! it will only create more depression in the long run. stay strong

The reason you don't have a pill problem now is cause you have switched addictions. You just think you need to be high to get through the day and your getting yourself in some serious trouble again. Drinking, smoking pot and now doing coke your going down even further. Drinking will kill you, coke will kill you faster and soon doing coke 2,3 times a month will not be enough and at this point you still don't know the power of cocaine. Not everyone becomes addicted to coke, but if you do brace yourself cause you will lose it all and won't be able to stop. Please go talk to someone about why you feel the need to be high all the time. Ive been there too, it's not a life. Although some of it may have to do with depression, there is a lot more to it. Those that suffer from depression and start using coke just compound the problem and your not gonna be able to handle it. depression and cocaine are a bad mix. Stick around here and come up with a plan on how your gonna go about getting clean. Best of luck

Youve really been through a lot. Those are MAJOR life changes. Your whole world has been turned upside down. You dont have see your kids everyday and I know first hand that this really hurts,........alot.
  You maybe filling that void and checking out of the pain with the other behaviors. I would be surprised if you wernt some what depressed.
What I am afraid of is you may return to the pill use. You may reach that day where you say f-it and there right in front of you, and you find yourself back in the trap.
I would recomend NA or AA meetings. It dosent sound like you did any aftercare. You'll also find new friendships there and trust me, there are people there who have gone through or are going through the same exact thing you are going through.
Its a good thing you realized this behavior and even posted about it. You recognise something isnt right and sounds like you want to do something about it. Its great you spotted this and came online.
Like I say, 'Lifes a do-over" In a year from now, you'll have a whole different life. Possibly new people in your life and things will be a lot different. Your in that void between being married and being single.Your not 100% single yet. Things will get better once you get used to it.
  Just dont use, I worry about the coke thing.. that can lead you back to the pills. You need to be vigilant about this, thats why I recomend the meetings.

sometimes looking at reality hurts...and using seems to help..i know how u fgeel as i was guilty as well..somthhing is missing.perhaps...and u have to come to terms with it or get it back...see ing someone for counseling can help or like mentioned..an AD can help...dont get off track
