Congrats on day 8!!!! You are so close to the physical part being over, mine lasted as far as the rls it seemed to completely stop around day 10, everyone is different but you are nearing the end. As far as the sleep and there again everyone is different mine was not really normal for about a month, but the nausea and the weakness will soon be over. I remember being so weak that just going to the mailbox I would have to gear myself up for it!!!! I know you are very active so this may not really pertain to you but as much as I hated it at 2 weeks I started working out, I still dread it but it seems to help with the depression for me that is what I have struggled with is the depression but it is much better now and in time you will feel better to. A lot of people use the highlands rls for the restless legs, I used to feel like there were little pins in my legs I remember how bad it felt, I think I mentioned this to you but I put heating pads on my legs when I watched tv I swear by that!!! So glad you don"t have the depression so I think from my experience as everyone is different I think in a few days you will be over the nausea and Rls!!!! I hope this helped you and again so proud of you, I know how hard it is my withdrawls were bad and I am at in one week 2 months and I feel real good so keep it up you will soon feel good again I promise.  Just keep putting one foot in front of the other and soon you will see a huge difference again congrats on day 8!!!

The rls can be relentless (did I just rhyme there?  sorry! lol).  Mag is right (Hi Mag!) many swear by the Hylands Restful legs found in most drugstores.  I would eat a banana before bedtime and the potassium would help my rls.  And it did stop at about 3 weeks out so I'm sure it will subside for you soon.

And you keep that scoreboard it will keep motivating you.  I found the tracker on this site to help keep me going - there was NO way I was going to go through this again and especially when I would look at the calendar and see where I was at - it was a daily reminder and a personal victory of sortsvto see where you are.  I finally stopped counting the days at 100+ and that was encouraging too - that I wasn't so obsessed every day to see where I was.  I too am proud of you - this is SO hard and most fail (sadly).  They say most addicts continue using up to death, and a lot of time, an early death because of drug abuse - g-d so scary.  So it's important to continue to realize your strength and to know that you will be one of the success stories.  I have so much confidence in you - and I also think because you're so active that it will help you so much more than it might others.  Sweating it out will help enormously!!

Stay strong and hang in there - it will get better I PROMISE!!  :)

i love cheese toast too. yummy...
you know i had the restless leg thingy a few days in my early withdrawls. i am on day 54, i think and i have noticed the restless leg thing returning the past couple of days. it is in my left leg and only last maybe about 30 minutes but it is still aggravating. i guess it will take awhile for my body to fully recover from the abuse i put it thru. other than that and having a little bit of depression on some days i feel really good.

and i am so happy for you on day 10. i am thinking the hardest part of the withdrawls are over for you. pretty soon you wont be counting the days as often. i keep having to check my tracker to see what day i am on. after about 30 days is when i quit counting.
