Really I've never heard of the oxycontin diet! That's crazy I can't imagine you don't enjoy the high u get ng with the weight loss. Heres an idea because it was the same for me. Wat if you were depressed from eating too much and thinking your fat which btw I'm sure ur not but taking the oxy causes major releases of dopamine and seratonin thus making you happy again. Overtime your brain adjusted to them and although you may claim you didn't get a high your body was changing both physically and mentally to the pills. And then when u quit u got the super depression u get from quitting and the significant drop I'm seratonin causing the original act (overeating ) all over again. Have you considered an antidepressant? I would see a doctor but im telling u oxy wouldn't along make u lowse weight h were just happier and probably more confidencebewrtr5 at the gym. Just my ipinion

Thank you very much! Yes I tried antidepressants but they never work ...seratonin huh? I will look into that maybe u are right and yes I did get the "high" feeling and super energy but after a couple of months of using I felt sluggish and do more now without energy that I did when I was on them I am a better person without them ppl tell me I look "healthier" and they have mo clue what I been through. I thought about it too maybe I am over eating to find an excuse to go back but I will look I. To what u said Thanks. K.

Congratulations on 49 days!  That's awesome....I'm one day ahead at 50 and feeling better and better and working on my recovery every moment....This is what I'm doing for myself...Exercise, aftercare, diet, vitamins/supplements, yoga, alternative pain management and a lot of patience and self-love.

So proud of you....Lu

68 days here. Life is beautiful. Got my positive attitude back. Just got finished swimming laps. I forgot how much i love swimming. And Im.diving too. We have some much to live.for. We are no longer tragic victims of hopelessness and despair. We are survivors who choose to overcome pain and active addiction. Yes we will always be addicts. But we choose to live sober. With support humility innerstrength and willpower we beat the odds against us everyday. I am a dragon slayer. Love y'all

74 days!  Never knew I had it in me to make it this far, and I'm just looking forward to more and more days!  Still struggling with energy and anxiety and sleep, but looking back to day 20,30,40 - i've come a long way baby!  To anyone just starting out, no matter how deep you're in, you CAN climb out of it!  It's a long, trying journey, but there is LIGHT at the end of that tunnel!
