Hey..I just read about your power getting cut off...and I know this may be too late to tell you, BUT...do you have LIHEAP in your area?
LOW INCOME HOUSING ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM....
EVERY State has this agency...and they will PAY your WHOLE bill if you qualify..and I bet you do.
Don't feel bad, honey....a couple years ago, I was in the SAME boat you are in now..and I went to LIHEAP and they paid the whole bill, and the deposit to get it turned back on. It only took 1 day for them to do it, cuz it was done on an emergency basis.
THEN..you stay ON the program..for a year..and they help you each month with a portion of your bill. :)
Call Com ED...or whatever utility company you have in your area, and they will direct you to your local LIHEAP. :)
OH, here's a little joke for ya..lol..it may cheer you up, I saw it on Roseanne once and I could TOTALLY relate:

HA! just read about Roseanne and that is my fav show in whole world i have every season on dvd and i just watched that episode a day ago. That does put some humer on the situation anyway! That is why i like Roseanne so much it is so much like real life right!! Just wanted to tell you that lots of luv~~~~Chros

LOL Yeah, that show was funny....it was really about how true life is in middle class families. (or, lower middle class, like me :) )
