STEALING IDENTITIES

It has been brought to our attention that someone (or more than one) has been logging in using names that are VERY similar to other members names. If this does not stop immediately, we will be forced to shut this forum down to new postings until such time as we find the culprit or culprits.
If someone has used a name similar to yours to post in this forum, please send us an e-mail with the SPECIFIC posting that is in question. We need the date and title of the posting in order to track it rapidly.
As with most things in life, its always the few who ruin things for the many.

P.S. One of my Bassist friends (Glenn Canon) from California called last night. He just scored a KIller Gig with the band "Hellion". The album comes out on Jan. 27, and then they go on tour to Japan and Europe in Feb 2003 - ? Too bad that you can't make money in the good old USA playing Heavy Metal anymore.
I had the last 4 days filled with my lit'l ones schedules....seems wifey was well overdue for a girls weekend in Seattle.
Glad i missed all the bullshit....things like that have a way of "what goes around comes around", so we'll leave it at that.

I could very easily make a nice nice forum. That would be IMPOSSABLE to act like someone else. I could use simple PHP and MySql. All IP address would be logged and such. You could even force the IP to be displayed each time a person posted... I actually have written a forum once and it was pretty damn nice... I used to run a chat server on my own webserver, which i still do run from my own home. Not to sound bad or anything, but this forum script is kinda old. Just give me a email ***@**** if you would like me to explain more.. or even give you some tips on how to make this one more secure... it wouldnt take much work at all.

over two months and I feel soo much better.But if it wasn't methadone it would have been something else.Stay on it and then taper off.It can work.

Anonymity is the greatest thing about the Internet! So many people look for advice and help here because it gives them a chance to remain anonymous! I believe shutting down a site that offers so much help, hope, encouragement, optimism, and a chance for so many people from different parts of the world—whom all share a common bond—to connect; would be an atrocity!
I’ve read the archives; but I am still confused as to how/why this all got started. I will continue to hope everything works out, and this “problem child” just goes away!

Ahhhh, I am so happy to hear you reclaimed some good ole’ Seattle roots this weekend! I had some friends and family visiting from outta town, so unfortunately there was no music time for me! Hope Everyone's having a decent morning. I got home after a 15 hour day at work expecting a good sleep. What I got was four hours of tossing around in bed with my feet "on fire" with this shitty Neuropathic pain. Let this be a warning to any of you kids reading this: Lots of vodka and gin over a couple years can cause a good deal of nerve damage (Peripheral Neuropathy). If I had to do it all over again, I would have just been a "Stoner" and skipped the whole drinking scene. It's NOT worth it!!

You sure have the booze thing down pat. It is the main killer here. Even the withdrawals can literaly kill just like the benzos if gone c/t.
I am sooooo glad I am finally off the sauce again. I was sober for almost two years, then relapsed mainly for self medication due to chronic pain. My new docs fixed all that without the heavy narcotics, except I am on a fairly high dose of Klonopin which I am slowly trying to taper, so long as I don't go below the seizure threshhold. Even if I can eventually control the seizures at 6 mg's, it's better than the 8 mg's I am currently using.
Thanks for clarifying the two percs people. All I know is the one above used my favorite expression and after being accused of being one of the two I just wanted to clarify it was not me.

Pretty amazing s**t with going on with that DC sniper. I can’t believe that with the bazillion different law enforcement agencies, currently surrounding the area and working 24/7 on the case, that they haven’t been able to catch this guy! I heard on the news last night that investigators are looking into the possibility of the sniper belonging to a Middle East terrorist cell! Now call me crazy, but I am willing to bet a million bucks, that it’s just some fundamentalist, 40-something, crazy, white dude! What serial killer, in recent history, hasn’t been?
