Scared Sh*tle$s!!!

My husband and I both take vicodin.  I took his prescription to a Rite Aid one night and they said they couldn't fill it.  So I just took it across the street and they did.  Well about a month later we took another prescription of his to Rite Aid and they took forever to fill it but when we got it, we were schocked to see it was the same Dr. they would not fill a month ago.  So at this point we had 2 vicodin scripts at Rite Aid so we knew we would have to transfer one somewhere else!  Meanwhile the script is also doing well at walmart.  So one very late saturday night I call the walmart to see if i can have it filled early.  The guy says well it has been filled early before and it looks like your acct is flagged and he (diff. man pharmasist) will contact your Dr. and we may contact the police!

I AM SO SCARED!!!  My husband did have Rite Aid fax Dr. about an early refill recently!  IM SO SCARED the DR will put 2&2 together and fire my husband as a client and also get the law involved???!!!

Can someone tell me if they have experienced this or anything like this?
Or if they know certain laws or even protocal?

stay at one pharmacy!!!! get some subutex to stop withdrawls and get off vicodin.  Subutex works for pain and depression, even alcoholic says it helps them not drink anymore.my 2 cents.

If they call the doctor they will probably not fill the script, it's up to the doctor, you can't be getting them early because they become suspicious, I don't think they'll involve the police unless you'te getting meds all over and from different doctors, I agree this is a wake up call, just  be careful from here on out. Take care

How many doctors are filling vicodin scripts for you?  In some states pharmacies can see everywhere you are filling your scripts.  That raises a red flag for doctor shopping.....which is a felony where i live.

Trying to understand your post.  It doesnt matter where you get the Vicodin filled, they all know about each other.  Being that it is a controlled substance it is monitored very closely to prevent doctor shopping, pharmacy jumping etc.  So if today you have a script filled for 30 at pharmacy A and than a week later go to pharmacy B to have another filled that would flag you, because you are in the system and being monitored.  This is irregardless if you pay cash or use insurance.  The DEA monitors these drugs very closely.  The likelihood of the doctor dropping your husband is pretty good if the pharmacist calls, sorry.  But I dont think the police will get involved, he was trying to scare you.  Let this be a wake up call for  you both to quit these demon pills!  They are not worth any of this worry.  Good Luck!
