often people have this reaction to narcotics in the hospital...itching and often causes people not to take them....i never had this rxn...then one day i did...and it was a problem ever after....it can progress to sumpin more severe than the rash///the throat swelling etc///a full fledged allergic rxn...it never happened to me but the more i took the worse the rash became..it was mostly in my inner elbows and back of my knees...i am not sure if it was a rxn to the tylenol or the narcotic for me...but i do know many who have this rxn even without a tylenol related narcotic..the itching thing..only if u continue taking it will the rash break out....it is time to let go....maybe this is ur warning

I'm chalking this one up as a sign from God... Keep your eye on the prize, this being getting your sober life back; But if you truly feel this is something more severe of a medical condition, then please consult your PCP or an Emergency Room doctor, as they'd be the professionals with the best advice alongside medical attention.

Please keep us posted on how everything goes. We are all here to help you through this!

if the rash is on your back, it is definately from the hydrocodone. very common.
our bodies can become allergic to things even after we have had no problems in the past. i think is a defense mechanism in our bodies. telling us to knock it off. hah

I agree with what you just said, seriously. Even with the little medications we don't stop to realize would ever give us a reaction do at times. I never had an issue in taking Benadryl when I was younger; Then when I was hospitalized for abdominal pain, they gave it to me in an IV form and that was it for me. UGH! Our bodies can be so weird at times. Completely agree with the statement that this our way of bodies saying kick it with the opiates, though!
