Second Time

Do females seem to suffer more with symptoms of hot and cold sweats and chills - and have them last longer than some other symptoms.  Perhaps it is not gender related, I realize that men experience it as well but many women seem to be plaqued with those particular symptoms for a longer period.  I assumed it could be due to the presence of estrogen in our system so I wanted to see how other women feel about that.

I don't know if it matters if you are male or female but I am going through the hot and cold sweats and it is the worst feeling ever! I just think it depends on the person some people it may not bother as bad as the other withdrawal symptoms such as no sleep, anxiety, or upset stomach. the hot and cold sweats and no sleep are the worst for me!

I actually have not idea about this topic, but I agree with your thoughts. I have clean for almost 6months and I sweat profusely all most all the time. I have already went through menopause and at one time I was taking estrogen, I had hot flashes that were terrible but never everyday. It is strange. I wake up soaking wet every morning. If you find the answer let me know I too am interested.
