ADDICTION: SUBSTANCE ABUSE COMMUNITY
Seizure

Seizure

Around the first week in March, I met my ex-husband at Golden Coral with our son, before he had picture day for his baseball team. After all this time on tramadol I finally took too much and had a seizure in the middle of Golden Coral. My ex called 911 and I was taken away in an ambulance. I do not remeber having the seizure or anything else in between I woke up in the ambulance when we were almost to the hospital no knowing what was going on.

I did not mention a thing about using tramadol. They took my blood and could not understand why it had a high level of PCP in it. So this is proof that tramadol is synthetic heroin, I believe that is why it is so difficult to come off this drug. If someone on the street were to offer me heroin I would never even consider using it. But when your doc is prescribing tramadol and telling you it is not addicting, not even classified as a narcotic you think it is ok. I cannot believe that even after the seizure I continued to use tramadol, this drug is so addicting!!!!!!!!

I did not have a question just wanted people to know that you can definitely have a seizure with Tramadol and you never know when it is coming.

Yes they can happen and it does not matter how long you have gone without having them ,just like when you are coming off a high amount CT you can seize then too we had it happen to a member not that long ago...Just because it does not happen often I think people think it never ,will but it does not work that way.
