Seizures??

Ok , Several of you have posted comments on ultram giving you seizures. I take tons of ultrams but hve never had a seizure from it. how common is it to have ultram induced seizures? could it be caused from just going cold turcky ?? or too much ultram in your body?  and why are Doctors not aware of the addiction problems with this drug. even my own doctor told me that ultram was not addictive..

You may have taken tons and not had a seizure but honestly the longer you abuse it the more of a chance of it happening . We have many here that wants ears taking lots then started having seizures .Then there is the risk of seration syndrome because ultram raises your seration this is fatal . you are basically playing Russian roulette with pills. My worst fear was have to have my kids watch there mother have a sizure.Then we have had others here CTing that have seized to . Some doctors dont know about the addiction problems some do .mine warned me . plus if you read the insert on the med it says it may be habit forming .

From what I've read seizure risk is highest when taking large doses @ 1 time. I'm glad you've not had problem s to this point but don't think it can't happen. I have never read any literature re:seizures during c/t but I have on this forum.Good Luck.

Mine was brought on by the fact I had been taken Adderall (adderrall). It lowers the seizure threshold. Ultram does the same thing. Mine was lowered enough for an all day convulsion party that both of my kids witnessed and my husband. Thank God, my hub had come home early from work. Didn't feel them come on, and before I know it, I was waking to a "thing" that I don't remember. My two girls watched as their mom dug her nails into her neck so hard that blood was everywhere.
