Sense of humor

Has anyone else noticed that they lost their sense of humor while on pain pills.  I didn't realize how I had stopped laughing. I am only clean 6 days but I seem to be laughing so much more. I forgot how much fun I used to be. The silly old me is coming back. I missed her. I can't wait to have fun again. I pray I can stay off them. I wasn't a likeable person on them. Giggling at everything past couple days. Is this part of w/d or is this just me coming back?

I was talking with a dear friend on the phone recently and I laughed so hard that I started to "snort" (not a pretty sound) LOL. I forgot how good it felt to laugh like that.

yes, i do agree,,,i would even have my kids say i wasn't as fun...I didn't laugh anymore either..I really don't know if i felt much..Isn't that terrible...But now the numbness is going away...I laugh alot more, i enjoy even simple things again...But the funny thing is at the time i though that i was doing everything the same..

u are right laughing feels great now....sorry ibkleen, i really thought i read farting...But like i said, what ever keeps you off pills, you can fart all you want!!!
