weed led me to many other drugs. weed really aint gonna damage you much at all man, but some day weed stops being fun and then you may or may not move onto other more hardcore drugs. its not something id think is worth going to rehab for because some jobs/careers are gonna see that youve been to rehab and think your a druggy. i can quit weed whenever i feel like usually but its the oxy and dxm that gives me a hard time. i really only would smoke so i could eat and sleep better because without it i had lots more things to deal with. bud will either help ya or hurt ya, i dont know ya so im just say when you get tired of smoking for fun stop there or at least take a break from weed.

in all honesty marijuana leads to other drugs so yes i do believe if u are addicted to anything even people with food addictions can leas destructive lives. even if a drug doesnt make u sick when u stop doesnt mean its not horrible for you. people who over eat or have an addcition to throwin up can also kill themselves wit their behavior to their "drug" of choice... so if u think u need the help u should get it...

Ga is right. Pot messes with GABA receptors and levels so that people who smoke it very heavily cannot have a normal appitite once they quit for some time. And if something is psychologically addictie, its addictive. For those in recovery, we know that the psychological part is the hard part.

Recent studies are starting to show that marijuana does in fact have a physical withdrawal symptom. I can say without a doubt that marijuana, for someone with an addictive personality, is a dangerous drug. We all have to realize that the dug itself isn't the problem. It's the behaviors that we addicts have. Regardless of the drug involved, if you have an addictive personality, it will all lead to harder drugs and an ultimate bottom. If you have the opportunity to attend rehab, do it. It may save you troubles down the road.

I say no. weed is more a mental thing then physical, Once I was in a rehab and during the chemical classes the hesd doc talked about pot and basically said it wasn't addictive. he talked more about the lungs, cronic bronchitis nto much else. he said it was the most harmless of all the drugs someone could use. Then he told us now don't go out and smoke csuse your in a program and while in here it won't fly.

Many studies have been done regarding marijuana addiction and all come back with it being a mental addiction. people wo think they are hooked on it can get hooked on ice cream or chocolate. in other words Aperson just has an addictive behavior. However like a earlir post, pot gets sprayed or is sometimes laced with something else and then that's another story. You just have to becareful who your getting it from.

It should be used in moderation anyway. many people wake up and smoke and continue through out the day, everyday, and that's abuse.

Someone in the program told me,

Normal people never ask themselves the question "am I addicted?"

Now I did know someone who went to rehab at the same time as I did soley for marijuana use. People like to say its not physically addictive but when you smoke as much dro as I used to, for a week after I quit, I couldn't eat, couldn't sleep, couldn't stop over production of saliva, there were many physical problems. So hey, if you think you have a problem, you can always get an appointment with a doctor who works at one of these rehabs and tell them whats on your mind. Good luck, let us know how it turns out!

HI Jake ...well the answer to your question is sorta....if you think you have a problem or think it is turning into one a good place to start would be an N/A meeting you will find plenty of help there ...typical drug rehabs are for chronic abusers and usually for harder drugs....dont get me wrong I spent many years strung out on pot it may not be physically addictive but there is a mental side that can bit you in the a$$...if your asking yourself this question you probably need to do something about it b/4 it gets out of control good luck to you and keep coming back for support ....Gnarly

I vote no, unless the problem is really out of control.

Smoking pot is a waste of time and interferes with the enjoyment of life and having a productive day.

You just have to decide to stop.

Ocasional use of weed is not a problem except much of the weed sold comes from areas that have been sprayed with Paraquat, which is a toxic poison. You are probably smoking "weed plus".

No I'd say you're ok. Why are you worried about your use? Has something negative happened to you due to the pot? Try going without it for a week and see how you feel.
