Sleeping

Hey All, im back from vacation and i did have a great time with my family sober for the first time in years.  I am not going to lie i did miss the pills and did think of them often but it was only for a brief moment and then the thoughts of it came to an end.  And i discovered that i am finally sleeping through the night.  Im 49 days clean today and for all you people out there wanting to know when the sleep comes back, for me it was at the 40 day period!  I am still seeing the addiction shrink once a week and that is helping me allot.  I do wish all of you the best and  keep on fighting.  Again, thank you to all my cyber friends for all your help:))))))    Dane

     Tavia, Congrats girl, we can do this fight and WE WILL WIN!!!  Vacation was really good, i did drink some but actually i am not a drinker as i just loved the pills.  So one night out of 7 i did have a little to much to drink but that was it, i was sober!   How's your sleep?  I discovered i was sleeping on vaca past 9 am everyday, i haven't done that since i was sober.  So it does feel GREAT to be "NORMAL"  hang tight , it gets so much better:))))

Congratulations! Awesome news! Gives me a ton of hope. I am ready to head out on vacation with my fam at the end of August and should right around where you are in clean time. I am so freakin worried haven't done a vaca sober for a long time either! Detremined to do so! Thanks for letting me know its possible !

Dane congrats on 49 days clean I knew you could do it. Doesn't feel great to enjoy life again. I wish you continued success on your journey to sobriety so keep on keepin on you are doing fantasic. God Bless---Rick
