Snorting vicodin as a mental pysche out

I have been weening off of a 120mg a day roxy addiction with vicodin 7.5s but now im down to the end of them and im snorting them as a way of tripping my mind up to think im doing a oxy, u think thats dangerous?  it seems to be working i have only done one yesterday, i crushed it into like 5 lines and whenever i got the shakes or the other symptoms got bad i did a line, and today is my last one, u think ill be ok tomorrow? its only 7.5s i should be fine right?

Please just take this as advice, but you are only prolonging your misery. The 7.5s will help of course because you are getting some opiates into your system. You are only going to prolong or relapse completely. Doing any drug in any other way than the way they are intended is acting out on your addiction. Have you considered going to NA or do you have books from NA that you can turn to? They really do help. Also if you have some recovering addict friends that can help. In order to detox, you have to get off of everything that is an opiate or anything addictive. You can trade one addiction for another very easily. The only way to quit using is to quit using. You will feel withdrawal symptoms no matter what you do eventually. Just have to be really wanting sobriety for it to stick and continued support and help. Addiction is a lifetime struggle. You have to really want sobriety in order to quit. Good luck! :)

No, sorry, this doesn't sound at all right to me. I could understand snorting oxy or street dope but not vicodin. You are putting a ton of tylenol up your nose and only a little dope. It's also bad because it perpetuates the "junky thing' by snorting or shooting up i.e., using junkie modes of injestion to detox. I once commented on a post here where this guy was detoxing on sub and snorting it. What's wrong with this picture? You'll only be "fine "when you stop snorting drugs and taking them alltogether. all the best

i agree with Mr.lucky... you have to end the addictive behavoirs or youre setting yourself up for failure before youre even detoxed in the first place
