Day 26 for me c/t off oxy. Congrats on day6!!! I found the first 4 days to be the worst. Then it's kind of a holding pattern for the next 10 to 12 days after that. It took me to about day 20 to really feel my motivation and energy come back. But with that said everyday seemed to feel a little better than the last after the withdrawls. Everything you are doing is worth it, without question. I can say it's a great feeling to wake up and not worry about how you will get through the day without pills!! Keep it up you will really be feeling better soon. Next week will be a hell of a lot better than your first. Good luck keep us up to date with everything. Be proud of everyday you are clean because they are all milestones!

Day 10 for me. I finally slept 5-6 hours last night for the first time. I was on the norco 10mg. My appetite is kickin full swing. I'm starting to feel great. I don't miss thinking about pills every darn day. Now I'm starting to try and repair my relationship with my wife. She didn't know I was on the meds but I came clean to the whole family. Days seem a little long still but that will be a good thing as soon as it starts gettin warm outside. Can't wait til spring..

Sure you want to know? 26 years......yea I know Crazy Right...... I did not plan on staying clean this long, it kinda snuck up on me LOL
But today I am 4 days clean off cigaretts............and it is kicking my butt. I am working a program of Recovery on it..............It looks a lot like what others are going through with detoxing. Anxiety, sleepless night, sweats, vivid dreams,withdraws...............Ugggggg
So 1 day at a time and admitting my powerlessness over smoking. I could never smoke 1 and it is that 1st. one that will start my addiction all over again.
Having a plan of recovery is essential to staying clean, after-care...12 Steps of Recovery... a sponsor....applying the principles of the 1st. step of surrender to win. I have a journal entry about recovery and relapse. Nothing fancy~~~Just some things to think about. Good Luck..... Huggggs ....Keep comming back..............
