Freedom from pills is the most valuable thing in my life other than my children! Keep this feeling close to your heart and replay it when those cravings come. Plan your aftercare and research places to go when you are feeling up to it! Good luck, great post! Keep posting!

So important what Kyle said.. I was told the same thing by "someone" about 18 months ago and I didn't listen and I relapsed hard and it was the worst EFFIN year of my life.. I'm on day 25 now and I'm working a program (AA/NA) and i will tell you straight if I wasn't I would be back or headed back, I know it.. Let me just quickly tell you why these programs NEED to be worked.. It helps puts all the pieces together for you.. It makes sense of your addiction and teaches you how to live with it -- the message and support in these programs is invaluable.. Please do yourself a favor and go -- it will be the best decision of your life... I promise, try one and you will see.. Thanks and keep up the good work!!!
We all do at some point, but then our heads get control and we relapse. Along with embracing sobriety you have to be sure that you don't repeat your past behavior. You've been through this before; you know the pitfalls and what things set you on the path of relapse. Cut your sources, tell your secret and get to NA meetings. Leave one of the steps out and the odds are against you.
At day three I did all of the steps. I was motivated; my detox from hell was motivating me. This is very important.
