I just saw on a forum that soma can cause diarrhea. So if you stop them I don't know why you would get diarrhea unless it is caused by the opiate WD. However two weeks is a long time. I would get a second opinion from another dr.
I was also going to say that orange juice will do that too. Do you drink an entire jug of that per day? Vitamin C will clean you out.
no apple juice just sunny D
Are you drinking a lot of apple juice? That can cause diarrhea.
I drink water a lot and juices
What are you drinking and how much?
I take anti diarrhea pills which kinda work. When I was clean for two weeks I was taking the anti diarrhea pills and they work but once I stop taking them it came back and I started using again think there was no hope. Some of the diarrhea is water coming out with a lil popp. some times its just not firm popp and I got like 3 times a day I have a regauler diet
The diarrhea should go away. Have you taken anything for it? Everyone here swears by immodium. The stomach cramps are no fun. I remember thinking that my insides were going to come out. That was the worst part of my withdrawals. It is horrible, isn't it? Have you had diarrhea 24/7 for 2 straight weeks? What are you eating and drinking?
I was taking both some days. say 9 somas 6 vicodine. Will i ever kick the diarrhea part ? Thanks for your help
As my mayberry said, the stomach issues are opiate withdrawal. I wasn;t clear, did you take just somas one day or just vicodin? never both? You told your dr you want to get off both and he said what was ok? Thanks for clearing that up.
thats a lot of soma. how could you stay awake? i would look into tapering off the soma. the symptoms you describe when you don't take them are symptoms of opiate withdrawal. there are people here who can suggest methods that might help with that. as far as soma withdrawal...soma is kind of similar to a baributrate/benzo. i would look into tapering it as opposed to discontinuing it abruptly.
