Soma and Vicodin

Are Soma and Vicodin in the same "family"? What I mean by that is that are they both considered opiates? I just took my last 5/500 vicodin list morning but I still have Soma and want to know if that will decrease the w/d process. Also, I have valium....does that help with w/d too??? I have .5, can I take 2 to get me through the worst of the wd??

Over a 10 year period I have progressed to 40 norco/40 soma per day. I'm on workman comp and stay up all night. I cannot take one without the other. Meaning if I had 10,000 norco and no soma I'd be screwed!!!!!!  This has ruined my life completely, I have been to 5 rehab facilities, and relapsed every time. Soma will kick you straight in the ***. When I run out I have severe headaches, shakes, eye watering, nose running, the worst leg cramps u can imagine. However the 2 worst withdrawals is diarrhea so severe  that u don't think u can make it, now add in the worst anxiety one can imagine!!!!! I have contemplated suicide when that's how bad the withdrawals are. Stay off of them!!!!

Soma is a muscle relaxer and pretty strong it usually makes u very tired and sleepy and I found it worked better that valium  Now I know alot of doctors will prescribe soma350 and Lortab at the same time and the two tend to work off of each other increasing the effects of both. I did find soma was not as hard to w/d  to get off of like lortab of this is just my experience

soma is more like valium. all three are addicting, so really it's not a good idea to use it for w/d, in my opinion.
