Still fighting to stay on Track

I am one week into my tapper with another 2 weeks to go.  It is a constant struggle to stay on track always knowing that I can just jump back on the train and feel better instantly.  I just keep reminding myself that I will just be back to the same old place if not worse.  Trying to stay positive and think about the day when I am clean and free from this nightmare.  Thanks for all your support.  This site is very helpful.

Just work or muttle thru it and go CT you can do this.  I think tapers cause too much time to rethink your position.  Even after going CT I came up with excellent ideas in my head.  BTW those ideas were all lies and sorry excuses for nibblin on a lortab corner...Just take some Immodium to work.....You can do this congrats on clean time.....The only thing that helped the most is flushing my pills while hard I should have done it at the beginning.

You are doing awesome whatever you decide...

Congrats

Yes start Thursday and just deal with work Friday.  Takes about 72 hrs before you start to slow down the wd.

Who said you can just jump back on the train???  LOL!  Don't even THINK that way! Changing the way you think and changing routines is what's going to help you. You need to think of that lifestyle as OVER!  AND you need some recovery support. Good luck with the rest of your taper. I'm of the opinion that a tapers work well only if they're long and slow. It gives you time to physically adjust.

If you plan on jumping Friday, I think you should make it Thursday. Friday won't be bad at all and then you'll have the weekend...just a thought.

Thats great!  I took that much and went the C/T route, but I had a few days off work and used the flu excuse.  Just keep doing what you are doing and you will be successfull.

I was up to about (15) 7.5 hydro's a day so I was afraid to try to C/T from there.  I am down to 7 a day and planning to jump next Friday when I should be at 2 or 3 a day.  I cant aford to take time off from work and I am trying to make it through without my family finding out, so I want to cut down as much as possible before I stop all together.  Thanks for the advice and I will try as soon as I feel I can.

Thanks

How about jumping off. Ever think about that?  You will be free sooner.  I don't know your story but it's a thought in the right direction.  Forward not backwards.
Good Luck

Stick to your guns, Bro. Just keep thinking about what's waiting for you on the other side... a "normal" life, without having to put poison into your body everyday.

Keep fighting the good fight!
