Stomach issues and percocet

My boyfriend just admitted to me that he is addicted to percocet.  I don't know how long he's been on it but I'm assuming it's begining to take a toll on his body so that's why he felt he had to tell me before I figured out.  Now he's so sick and I don't know what to do.  He's been vomiting nonstop since yesterday and is miserable.  I feel so helpless.  I dont' know what to do to make him feel better.  He's in so much pain and I'm afraid I'm going to lose him.  He scheduled to go into a detox center tomorrow but I wonder if there's something I can do for him to get him through the night.  Any ideas?

He's at the ER now.  He's not admitted yet but at least they have him on an IV to prevent dehydration.  I feel so helpless.

Probably a little of both.  As I'm sure you know percocets can cause stomach bleeding which can cause the symptoms he's experiencing now AND he has drastically cut the amount of pills he's been taking.

Try to make him comfortable, if needed go to the ER and they will be able to ease his discomfort until tomorrow.  Wow what a great friend you are, he is lucky to have someone who really cares!!

Best of luck to you both,
