How long were you on the subs and how many mgs when you jumped off?
Hey congratulations on 24 days. IM 9 weeks and 2 days off subutex. My withdrawal were almost nothing and felt great at day 8. I took an anti depressant 3 weeks before jumping and had no psychological anxt at all. My energy came back sometimes 3 days in a row, till I got to week 6, then I lost my energy completely. Still have none at all but never been sad or cried the whole time. IM happy but want my energy back. Normally by 2-3 months, people say you feel better emotionally. I hope that is the case for you. Good luck, and well done on being clean : )
First off, congrats on your very hard won 24 days!!!
I've been clean from Subs 8 month now and I can tell you it does get better but as you already know its a rollercoaster ride for sure, you'll have big ups and feel stronger then you'll hit the slopes and feel weak and that's when you need to talk to someone. Come on here, tell people how you feel and ask for help.
I never felt good or better would be a more fitting word until the very point your at right now, so know this you've done the hard part and beat the detox, now the mental battle begins, this is when you should be looking for guidance Counsellor/meetings anything to help keep you on the right path. I'm hoping you've already got these in place but if not strongly consider it! Try your best to eat healthy and keep yourself well hydrated, keep avoiding sugars and caffeine for now, wait till you feel a little stronger before you go back to them, they can aggravate the rls. Basically just keep going my friend, your not far from feeling a little better and more able to cope/manage with the day. It does get better, I promise you that!
Message me any time you feel the need, ;)
Sub withdrawal is normal but we get so involved with everything we let in it makes it harder to release try a new hobby or mentally challenged interest you might have then you will feel eased eventually take control back the key is find that part and lead how to control it
Thank you for the replying and it is true that it is not easy. Wish you well.
Hi and welcome ! I really can't speak as far as Suboxone goes but knowing members who have been on it they all say it is not easy getting off of it. As far as the physcological part of recovery it is probably the worst part of it for most of us . The good news is it will go away I promise you that . Congratulations on 24 days my friend . Stay strong ! Jimmy
